Assignment #5

analogous

Monochromatic

Complementary

I learned a lot from this assignment about color and finding color in our surroundings I found my self walking around campus noticing the natural composition of colors surrounding me. I had a lot of fun and thought it really helped me see things differently.

Assignment #4

I really learned a lot from this assignment. I loved taking the motion pictures. It was awesome to watch the water or the people go from blur to sharp. It was also very enjoyable to be able to get up close and take tight shots along with wide shots. I enjoyed the tight shots more because it taught me a lot about my camera's ability to focus.

Assignment #1 - Scavenger Hunt

Before

After
In the "after" image I increased the black by about five. I didn't do as much with this image as I did with the others because it didn't seem as necessary. With the ugly image I really pumped up the black and exposure. It might be against all the rules but I've the most fun with the ugly images. I learned a lot about how the exposure really effects the colors in our pictures. Its interesting to see his tongue go from light pink to dark pink just by messing with the exposure.

In this "after" image increased the blackness by 5, I thought it made the sunlight contrast more and it created a cool effect. I brightened the image slightly too but only by 1 or 2.
For the ugly image I really increased the contrast and overexposed the image. I know I shouldn't but I almost like the ugly image the best. I really learned light of day can effect colors in the picture just as the exposure.

For these images below I did a variety of different thing. For the "after" image I used fill light and recovery light, I also slightly used the black light. In the "ugly" image I used all the same tools I just exaggerated them. I learned that by using the fill light I almost changed the time of day. Its very interesting.
